The Filmmakers


Charlie Cook – Charlie grew up in the small town of Chesterton, Indiana. Ever since his first Fisher-Price still camera, he has been fascinated by capturing moments. Photography and filmmaking aside, in his spare time he enjoys traveling, biking, playing accordion and studying foreign culture.


Stephen Erdmann – The son of a baker, Stephen’s filmmaking career began in middle school when he and his friends decided to take a camera out and film anything they could. Growing up in the diverse culture of the San Francisco Bay Area has given Stephen a fascination with other cultures and lifestyles, which fuels his documentary filmmaking to this day. In his free time, Stephen likes to spend time with his friends and family and go into the outdoors.

Erin Lim – Erin is a Television Broadcast Journalism major from Woodland Hills, California. She loves to create social change through documentaries and host her show EL337. When she is not behind or in front of the camera, she likes to hike, run, and spend time with family.

Catherine Wharton – Catherine is a Junior from Atlanta, Georgia and first began experimenting with film in her high school Broadcast Productions class. As a Sociology major at Chapman, she is interested in documenting underprivileged communities, and using film to aid groups in need like non-profits. In her free time she works as Community Service Chair of her sorority and loves hiking and watching movies.
